Hi I am on day 4 from my first dose of Pfizer and have been having very high anxiety that comes and goes (i suffer from anxiety and panic attacks but it is usually under control). It sounds great to only need half the amount of sleep compared to before but I know this isn't healthy. We're both at a bit of a loss of what to do, neither of us want to start a prescription drug regimen (we know our doctors can only really recommend this route) because we were fine before so it's frustrating to resort to that. Meds don't seem to help (OTC sleep aids, herbal remedies etc.). We've also been experiencing episodes of low mood and anxiety that also doesn't help with getting to sleep (he's never had any mental health issues while I had very well controlled anxiety that didn't bother me much before now). We've developed insomnia but not in the traditional sense - neither of us seem to require all that much sleep anymore compared to being constantly tired from busy work lives prior to this (8hrs sleep per night and still tired vs 4-5hrs now and functioning normally). My partner and I got our 2nd doses on 23.7.21 (7 weeks ago) and we're still not 'right'. Hopefully it'll pass over the next few days. I've taken today off work because I felt so shit last night, and will probably take the rest of the week off. I actually hit a lot of PBs that week, but now I'm worried that I've developed the issues mentioned because of exercising so hard. The initial arm ache went within 24 hours so I figured all was good, and I ended up going really hard in the gym after (with ample caffeine-loaded pre-workout) for multiple days. Then I just had the same minor ache as I had with the first jab.until exactly two weeks later where I started to feel minor tightness (not painful at all but noticeable), frequent indigestion/bowel movements, and I even had an episode where ALL NIGHT my heart was pounding (this, so far, has only happened once, but it was scary). The nurses still had me wait around for about an hour though, drinking water and eating some cookies. But it went as quick it as came and I felt fine. I almost fainted after the 2nd dose: felt super dizzy while waiting to leave and my ears started ringing. But I am absolutely not a doctor.ģ1M here. If you have a sensitive immune system (eczema, allergies.) you might consider seeking out a Pfizer dose instead. I think Moderna contains like 3x as much mRNA as Pfizer, which makes it more effective, but also more potent to the immune system. Kind of apprehensive now about getting my 2nd Pfizer because I'd rather not feel debilitated like that again for such a long period.įWIW my brother developed full body eczema after recieving Moderna. Didn't come into contact with anyone after being vaccinated either, so I doubt it was caused by another illness. Never had a headache last longer than 24h before, so I found this whole thing extremely unnerving. The pressure headache however was extremely noticeable for 1 month+, but now after two months it is just an infrequent occurrence. The brain fog, nausea and tenderness in the spine/neck subsided within about a week. Then I developed a strange pressure headache, brain fog, nausea, and my spine felt tender when moving, particularly around the base of my skull. I had no side effects until 2 weeks after my 1st Pfizer.
